Tell us about your family.
Family is incredibly important to me! I’m very close with my parents, and I’m so grateful for the example they’ve set through their strong, loving relationship. My sister and I are extremely close, and she and her husband recently welcomed their first child, a sweet 4-month-old son, who has brought so much joy to our family. I’m also very close with my brother and his wife, and his son just turned one. Being an aunt is one of my greatest blessings, and spending time with my family, especially watching the next generation grow is something I truly cherish.
Describe your job here at The River.
In my role at The River, I serve as an assistant supporting both Debbie and Cathy. I help Debbie with administrative tasks to keep things organized and running smoothly, and I also assist Cathy with River Kids, helping create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for the children and families in our church. I love being able to support multiple areas of ministry and contribute to the overall mission of The River.
What is your favorite place to eat?
The Red Onion is one of my favorite places to eat because we almost always run into friends there, which makes it feel like a community hangout as much as a restaurant. I also love Italian food in any form—pasta, pizza, bread… all of it!
In your free time, what do you enjoy doing?
In my free time, I love spending time with friends and family, especially doing anything near the ocean. I enjoy beach walks, good conversations, and finding moments to relax and recharge.
What is your favorite thing to do in the South Bay?
My favorite thing to do in the South Bay is anything by the beach! Walking along the strand, watching the sunset, or grabbing good food with friends.
What is one place you've always wanted to visit?
I've always wanted to visit Australia!
What is your favorite movie of all time?
My favorite movie of all time is Elf!
