River Kids

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."  Matt. 19:14


River Kids is our Children’s Ministry for infants - 5th grade and is designed to help kids grow in their knowledge of Jesus, through fun-filled interactive stories and age appropriate activities. 


Sundays

C H U R C H – 10:30 a.m. | The Catalina Room

128 S. Catalina Ave., Redondo Beach

River Kids & Littles are having a blast playing with each other, doing crafts and activities, and learning about Jesus! You’ll find us downstairs at The Catalina Room. The babies (0-1 years old) will have their own designated room and the rest of our River Kids will meet in the main room. We are super excited for our new location!


River Kids Hangouts (3-5th Grade) River Kids meet every other week to hangout, play games and dive in a little deeper with Jesus. Keep an eye out for locations in our monthly River newsletter. Sign up to receive the newsletter here!

Hume Lake’s Wagon Train Summer Camp! (ages 8 – 10 yrs.| 3rd- 5th Grade)

Hume is BACK! A week sleeping in a REAL wagon under the starry skies and learning about the God who created it all!

River Kids Volunteer Team

Experience the joy of investing in young lives and join the fun-loving River Kids Team, as we partner with parents and teach biblical truths to children in a fun and exciting way! Volunteer team members serve one Sunday a month. Curriculum is provided and background check is required.

Fun games and good times! We are going to learn about the character of Jesus, and what that means for us. TiDE Tuesdays will meet in the Daniel's backyard, so please enter through the gate on the right side of the house.

We love Junior High students and are honored to be a part of their growth into the individuals that God has made them to be. TiDE is here to walk alongside these students as they grow into their relationships with themselves, with others, with God, and with all of creation.

The River High School group, RuSH, will meet Wednesday evenings at the Ryan's Home.

RuSH - Because we are rushing towards God's grace. The "u" is lowercase because we personally (you/yourself) are incredibly small in comparison to God's love and grace.

The River High School Group offers what we call "Small Groups" for students who are looking to dive deeper into the dynamic life following Jesus. Small Groups are composed of 5-10 students who meet weekly with their leader to study the Bible and grow closer in their friendships with each other. During the weekly meetings, students will engage in conversations that ask the tougher questions of life and spur spiritual growth. The River High School Group is intentional about using Small Groups to develop mature disciples of Jesus.
