The Calling of the Disciples Part 2

Sep 8, 2024    Todd Wendorff

Join us for part two as we continue our discussion on Matthew 4. Believing that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world should not be any different than coming to the conclusion that Jesus is your Savior. And, can I add, making a firm commitment to follow this Savior Jesus throughout the rest of this life and into the next. In other words, believing it is the same as living it. When Jesus walked along that shore in Galilee and saw those young men fishing with their fathers and called them to come and follow him, he was essentially saying, “You believe I’m the messiah, the Savior of the world don’t you? Then let’s go!” These young men didn’t ask where, how, or why. The when was now. The rest would be answered in time. If you claim to know Jesus as your Savior, then the when is now. I will continue to explain what that looks like.
