Free from Condemnation

What does God envision for your life? Or put another way: what kind of life does God invite us to as we follow Jesus? Depending on your background and story a few things might come to mind--some ethical principles from something like the Sermon on the Mount, perhaps a particular spiritual discipline or two, or maybe just the general idea of not being a jerk. All of these are wonderful things. Yet, the Scriptures show us that life with Jesus is about far more than a few truth claims to believe and a life trying hard to be nice; life with Jesus is an invitation to a radical, joy-filled renovation of the heart. For the rest of the Spring, we'll be taking a deep dive into Romans 8 and learning together to be a people brought into a new shared life by the Holy Spirit, a life of new identity in Jesus, and a new way to navigate the broken stuff of life. Join us as we begin with a look at Romans 8:1-4 and our new identity free from condemnation.
